The Stow Democratic Club will meet tonight, September 20, 2010, at 7:00pm in the Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library Munroe Falls Room (2nd Floor).

Hear from some of our favorite local candidates and plan for upcoming events. Please bring stationary, stamps, and addresses to send get-out-the-vote messages to five of your friends, family, or colleagues.

Vice President Joe Biden at The University of Akron Today!

U.S. Vice President Joe Biden will visit The University of Akron today (Monday, Sept. 20) to lead a rally in support of Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.

The rally, which is sponsored by UA's College Democrats, will take place in UA's Student Union Ballroom. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and close at 3 p.m.

Although this event is free and open to the public, attendees must have a ticket to attend. Ticket tables are located in the Student Union today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stow- Munroe Falls Showcase

The Stow Democratic Club reached out to several thousand community members at the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce's Community Showcase this spring. Club members, favorite Democratic officials, and local candidates manned the booth all day Saturday and Sunday. Candidates passed out literature and candy, and several people stopped by to update their voter registration. The event was a great success!
